Our Extension Services provide direct technical support to fish farmers to ensure efficient farm management, improved productivity, and sustainable aquaculture practices. The service is designed to bridge the gap between aquaculture knowledge and practical farm application by offering continuous on-site guidance and problem-solving support to both small-scale and commercial fish farmers.
Our technical team conducts farm visits to assess farm conditions and provide customized recommendations based on the farmer’s production goals and environmental conditions. Key areas of support include pond and cage management, stocking strategies, hatchery operations, fish breeding, water quality monitoring, feed management, fish health assessment, disease prevention, and biosecurity measures.
The extension program also supports farmers in maintaining proper farm records, monitoring growth performance, improving feed conversion efficiency, and implementing cost-effective management practices.
In addition, the service promotes climate-smart aquaculture practices aimed at enhancing resilience, environmental sustainability, and efficient resource utilization.
